Simola Hotel, Country Club & Spa, Knysna

My stay at Simola was truly memorable. The rooms felt like fully kitted apartments, complete with our own private balcony boasting stunning views of the valley. The staff was fantastic, pleasant, and always ready to assist. However, there were some issues that needed attention to make the experience even better.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with our own private balcony offering the most beautiful view of the valley. However, they lacked maintenance and thorough cleaning. The outside space with a BBQ was a nice touch. The service was excellent, with Linda being a ray of sunshine, always eager to assist. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay awesome after a long trip. The location was fantastic, offering phenomenal views and a tranquil atmosphere overlooking the bay and Knysna. The dining experience was good with a tasty food variety but could use some improvement in friendliness. Overall, a great value for money.

The service was top-notch, with incredibly friendly staff willing to assist in any way possible. The location was peaceful, overlooking Knysna, offering beautiful views. The dining experience was excellent, especially the breakfast. Overall, a great value for money.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms really need some updating as they felt quite dated, but on the bright side, they were stunning and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the room I was in turned out to be very dirty and some amenities didn't work properly. However, the hotel does offer all the creature comforts like an indoor heated pool, gym, outdoor pool, braai facilities, and indoor gas fireplaces in their units.

My stay at the hotel was truly amazing. The rooms were very luxurious and well equipped with everything you might need. They are huge and offer enormously good value, especially with the fully equipped kitchen and gas BBQ if you wish to self-cater. Our booked room had everything and more, including the most stunning view over the fynbos, golf course, and the Knysna heads. Although the service was friendly and attentive overall, there were some instances where the customer care skills were lacking. The location was really nice, making it easy to relax and enjoy, especially with the uninterrupted views of Knysna and the hillside. The dining experience was excellent with a slight room for improvement in the breakfast options. The hotel facilities were top-notch and added to the overall experience.
